Make Your Chrissy Day BBQ One to Remember!
Aussie Christmas isn’t complete without sunshine, great company, and a proper barbie. This year, take your backyard celebrations to the next level with our guide to hosting the ultimate outdoor feast. From prepping tips to must-have dishes and drink ideas, we've got you covered for an unforgettable summertime Chrissy BBQ.
Top Tips for a Perfect Christmas Barbie
- Prep Like a Pro:
Make your life easier by prepping as much as you can ahead of time. Chop veggies, marinate meats, and have your salads ready to go. That way, you can spend more time enjoying the party and less time stressing.
- Get Your Menu Just Right:
Create a balanced menu that covers all taste buds—succulent prawns, juicy steaks, and classic snags are Australian Christmas lunch staples. Don’t forget fresh salads, baked fish, grilled veggies, and, of course, that most Aussie of desserts to finish, pavlova!
- Sip in Style:
Keep the drinks flowing with refreshing summertime cocktails like citrus sangrias or minty mojitos. And don’t forget plenty of ice and chilled beers. If you have an outdoor kitchen, with a built-in bar fridge, even better!
- The Secret to Stress-Free Cooking:
Conquer your BBQ with high, even heat and no unpredictable flare-ups. This isn’t just about the snags; it’s about locking in flavour and ensuring everything is perfectly cooked.
- Be the Host Who’s in on the Action:
Stay where the fun's at by having everything you need—gear, food, music, and drinks—right by your side. Ditch dashing inside when the sausages are on the sizzle.
- Set the Atmosphere:
Add some fairy lights, easy-listening tunes, and outdoor seating to create a laid-back vibe that keeps the good times rolling.
